Inspiring Visions of Northern Italy
September's breezy evenings inspire visions of Northern Italy's rolling hills and farmhouse villas. Armchair travel with us through the Valle Padania by way of the regional bounty of cheese and wine. Tasting those from the countryside of Veneto, Lombardy, Tuscany and the Piedmont, we'll discover the hidden stories and unique flavors of the culture and food of Northern Italy.
Spend an evening with The Cheese Course in an intimate class discovering and savoring seasonal, artisanal cheeses. We'll explore the world of cheese pairing by tasting 6 cheeses and 3 wines along with housemade accompaniments by Seasonal Pantry's Dan O'Brien. Fromager Carolyn Stromberg will delve into the story behind each cheese, as well as give practical advice about selecting, serving, pairing, and more!
